After doing a bit of research I found that there were quite a few complaints from students who had transferred from other high schools to Brookeland High School. Most of the complaints involved the curriculum. One student even admitted to doing "this math work three years ago" in another school.
This is the first school I went to high school. It will always have a place in my heart. Also where I played basketball for the first time. Hello Brookeland High School.
stuck in the past
More recently, a teacher was fired for suspected atheism. As of last report he had not been burned at the stake yet. Judging from how close Brookeland is to Jasper there is a chance that he might be hung.
